The Importance of Omega 3's

Are you eating the recommended two servings of fish per week?

The scientific evidence supporting the health benefits of long-chain omega-3 EPA and DHA is impressive and is continually increasing

The American Heart Association recommends that healthy adults eat at least two servings of fish per week. particularly fatty fish, which are rich in the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA.  They also reported some people need more EPA and DHA than can be readily achieved through diet alone, and in those cases supplementation should be considered.

Your ability to think, learn, and remember can be influenced by the amount of DHA in your cells.  Scientific studies have also found that low levels of DHA have been associated with reduced brain function and are linked to a number of mood problems.  People who want support for memory and concentration need to add more DHA to their cells by increasing their daily intake of this important Omega-3

EPA

EPA helps the synthesis of hormone-like substances called prostaglandins, with benefits for cardiovascular and joint health. It's really sad to know that I was only able to know about these things today. If I have known this earlier, I would have already started living a healthy life that we all need. I am still new to this information so I am still trying my best to make some balance with my food intakes.
